Bloom is guided by MaryKate and Christy the daughter mother duo whose shared love for gowns began long before Bloom ever existed. When MaryKate and her sister were little, Christy would bring home wedding magazines and the three of them would dream together imagining the dresses they would one day choose. What started as a playful ritual became a thread that carried through their lives.
As MaryKate grew older, she fell in love with the bridal world in a deeper, more tangible way. Working in bridal studios opened her eyes to what the experience could be elevated, intentional, personal. She imagined creating a space that felt like an extension of the world she and her mom once dreamed about a place where brides could feel seen, understood, and inspired. Christy believed in that vision wholeheartedly. Together, they turned a childhood dream into Bloom.
They work side by side every day balancing hard work with laughter, creativity with care, and a shared desire to reimagine what a bridal studio can feel like. Their connection infuses Bloom with warmth and sincerity offering brides not just a gown but a meaningful experience shaped by two women who have been dreaming of this world since the very beginning.

We typically work with brides nine to twelve months before their wedding day, helping you discover not only your ceremony look but also weekend events, rehearsal styles, and the accessories that complete your vision.

Meet THE TEAM
MK has called Nashville home for nearly a decade and has spent the last seven years immersed in the bridal world, bringing a grounded, thoughtful perspective shaped by her work as a trauma nurse at Vanderbilt. She is truly the mind behind Bloom, having dreamed up this studio since she was a little girl, long before it became a physical space.
Known for her determination and ability to juggle many worlds with ease, MK brings both vision and heart to everything she touches. Outside the studio, you can find her curled up on the couch with a good book, at Bodyrok, loving on her Doberman, or finding any excuse to explore a new place. She is inspired by unique design, people who push the norm, the balance of old and new, and a beautifully constructed gown.
Cool yet soft, driven yet deeply kind, MK has an intuitive eye for making ideas come to life. Her nonjudgmental nature, calm presence, and thoughtful leadership are the quiet force behind Bloom and the experience it offers every bride.

CHRISTY
Christy is the steady anchor behind Bloom, the one who reins in the vision, sharpens the focus, and makes sure every creative step is matched with financial and practical intention. Having lived all over the country, she brings a wide lens and a calm, discerning perspective shaped by a lifelong career in education and educational sales.
A former English teacher at heart, Christy is thoughtful, analytical, and deeply articulate, with a sharp mind that always hones in on what truly matters. Quiet but tough, soft yet strong, she is not afraid to say exactly what’s on her mind. She works in perfect rhythm with her daughter and partner, often like an orchestra conductor who also happens to crack a joke at just the right moment.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Christy at D1 West Nashville most mornings, flowing through yoga at Bend and Zen, or buried in a book. She’s a devoted dog mom to her Wags & Walks Nashville rescue and adores her orange cat. Loving, grounded, a little nerdy, and endlessly supportive, Christy brings balance, structure, and heart to Bloom, ensuring the dream is built to last.
CORTNEY
Cortney is Bloom’s first employee and a true natural when it comes to bridal. Born and raised just outside of Nashville, she spent the last decade living between Los Angeles and New York City, shaping a style and sensibility that feels both elevated and intuitive. With over ten years of experience in bridal, she brings confidence, warmth, and an unmatched ability to connect.
Effortlessly cool and endlessly charming, she has the rare gift of making everyone feel instantly at ease. She could sell ice to an Eskimo, yet what truly sets her apart is how deeply she listens. She quickly understands a bride’s personal style and elevates it, never overpowering it, always making it feel unmistakably their own.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her lacing up for a casual 7 to 10 mile run after work as she trains for her next marathon, or spending time with her two adorable dogs. Equal parts driven and laid-back, stylish and sincere, she brings energy, intuition, and heart to the Bloom experience, making every appointment feel both effortless and unforgettable.
